Periheral Communication

Not all computers are created equal. Some have higher capacity than another. Some can process data much faster. While some can be configured to suit any peripheral hookups, some computers need drivers to be able to access and control peripherals such as printers, scanners, cameras, etc. HP drivers enable an HP computer to communicate with its peripherals and send commands.

Drivers can be thought of as translators that allow computer hardware and software to communicate and be configured. There are specific HP drivers installed for specific peripheral such as printers.
